HORSE TRAILS



CVG has several miles of riding trails through fields and wooded areas around the airport. Riders are invited to join CVG's Equestrian Program.


CVG's Equestrian Program provides spectacular views just outside the airport fenceline. The trails are open from May 5 through Sept. 5.
Equestrian Program

Riders can use the airport horse trails free of charge provided they:

  • Fill out an application
  • Undergo a background check
  • Attend a one-hour orientation

Riders must supply their own horses and wear their special ID badge while using the trails.

Members of the Equestrian Program are allowed to bring up to three guest riders along with them while using the trails.

How to Sign Up

Application packets are available from the Airport Police, located on Terminal Drive near the Delta hangar. Those approved will be notified of the date for the next orientation class.

Upon completing the class, applicants will be issued an Airport Equestrian Badge that permits them to use the trails.
