Merwin Grayson Jr. Appointed to Airport Board

Jan. 31, 2013 — Merwin Grayson Jr. has been appointed to the Kenton County Airport Board by Steve Arlinghaus, Kenton County/Judge Executive.

Grayson is President of Central Bank Northern Kentucky. He began his banking career with First National Bank of Cincinnati in 1964 and has been a banking leader for decades throughout Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati.

“I look forward to working with the Board and contributing toward CVG’s reinvention plan,” Grayson said. “It is an exciting time at CVG with the recent announcement of Frontier Airlines — a great addition to the existing list of airline partners and nonstop destinations.”

Grayson has made significant contributions to the community as Chair of the St. Elizabeth Medical Governing Board, and as founder and Chair of the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation.

He has also served on the Thomas More College Board of Trustees, the Northern Kentucky Board of Regents, Greater Cincinnati United Way Board of Trustees, United Way Foundation and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

He and his wife Susan live in Ft. Mitchell.
