THINK CVG FIRST

Flyers Come Back to Cincinnati Airport

As Better Fares Promise Major Savings

It appears that the new low fares are drawing travelers back to CVG, after years of "leakage," that saw local travelers driving to surrounding airports.

In February 2009, Delta announced reductions of 5% to 60% on most CVG fares. Other airlines quickly followed.

Some local companies have increased their use of CVG by 30%, according to Doug Moorman, vice president of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.

This new price structure has really caught the attention of the business community. This makes our community an even more attractive place to do business, said Steve Stevens, President of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
