Recycling

CVG has taken recycling to new levels. Even old concrete and asphalt from the airfield is reused. The asphalt and concrete is ground up and stored on site (below) for use in other projects. Thousands of light bulbs and all types of batteries are among the many other items being recycled at the airport. Passengers can help out as well by placing paper, bottles and cans into the green recycling containers throughout the terminals.
