CVG’s Cork ‘N Bottle wins Top 3 Favorite Retailer

Hebron, KY— March 27, 2019 — Regional spirits retailer Cork ‘N Bottle is pleased to announce that the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) store is a winner in the 2019 USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice travel award contest for Best Airport Shop for Local Merchandise. The 200 sq. ft. store located in Concourse A at CVG snagged the No. 3 position on USA TODAY’s list after being open for only three months.

The 10Best Readers' Choice Award contest takes place every week. Nominees for all categories are chosen by a panel of relevant experts which include a combination of editors from USA TODAY; editors from; relevant expert contributors; and other sources. All voting is open to the public digitally and the 10Best Readers' Choice Award contest is accessible on the website. Owned by USA TODAY, provides users with original, unbiased, and experiential travel content of top attractions, things to see and do, and restaurants for top destinations in the U.S. and around the world.

The CVG location of Cork ‘N Bottle offers a slice of the “Kentucky Bourbon Experience” to travelers before they board their planes or after they land. The store features a tasting station with options for tasting both new and antique bourbon in addition to offering multi-sized bottles of bourbon and other spirits for sale.

 “We truly appreciate being part of this USA TODAY Favorite Airport Retailer List and love that we earned the No. 3 spot in such a short time,” said Vince Vassil, Cork ‘N Bottle’s general manager. He added, “The consumer response to our store’s opening has been great and sales have been strong.”

Cork ‘N Bottle has been a leading area wine and spirits retailer for over five decades. Under new ownership since 2014, the company also owns Corkopolis, a wine market and bar in downtown Cincinnati.
