HEBRON, Ky. —
Among the most Bengals-busy places in the entire area is CVG Airport as fans depart to Los Angles to see the game and others arrive in Cincinnati hoping for a hometown victory celebration.
“All you want to do is go out there and be a part of history,” said Bengals fan Chris Bushelman, who was headed to L.A. with his father.
“It was on my bucket list. If I ain’t going to do it now. I’m never going to do it,” said Ed Bushelman.
Bengals young super fan Kingston Thomas was given a trip to the Super Bowl by the Bengals for his loyalty. He was leaving CVG for LAX Friday.
“We’re on our way Cali-bound to go get that big trophy,” said Erica Thomas.
“We’re going to bring back the Lombardi,” her son responded.
Restaurant owner Jeff Ruby was stopping in Las Vegas before heading to Los Angeles.
“I think the whole city of Cincinnati is on that plane with the team and on the way back,” Ruby said. “It’s like the city is in the Super Bowl.”
The only place in the airport as busy as departures to Los Angeles was the arrivals to Cincinnati from all over the nation.
