VP, Safety, Security & Compliance

Description

Manages and supports day-to-day airport operations focusing on safety, security, compliance, airport emergencies and public safety operations. Responsible for managing, responding to and maintaining a safe and secure airport environment. Accountable for coordinating with agencies such as the TSA, FAA, airlines, airport tenants and staff, and other regulatory and emergency organizations. Ensures the effective mobilization of protective, public safety and emergency services for the airport in all safety, severe weather, security related emergencies and incidents. Reviews airport safety, security programs, directives and airport tenant activities for compliance with airport, state and federal regulations. Ensures compliance with FAR 139, Kentucky State Fire Commission and Emergency Medical (EMS) Service Regulations. Leads airport certification programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and develop and implement long-term strategic plans to meet the goals of the airport.
